Who we are

Breakline Marketing Company Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales, No. 15819825. Our registered office is 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, England, W1W 5PF. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

• Contact details you submit through a form on this site: name, company, email address, telephone number and website.
• The content of your enquiry and any subsequent correspondence.
• Standard server logs, including IP address, user agent and the pages requested.
• For clients, the account data required to deliver the work, such as analytics access and log files.

Why we hold it

We use enquiry data to answer your request and to prepare a proposal, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Client data is processed to perform the contract between us. Server logs are kept for security and troubleshooting.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become accounts are deleted after twenty-four months. Client records are kept for seven years after the end of a contract, which is the period required for our own accounting and tax obligations. Server logs are kept for ninety days.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing. Data is shared only with the processors we need to run the business: our email and hosting providers, our accountants, and, where a client account requires it, the analytics platforms you already use. All of them are bound by written terms.

Your rights

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete it, where we have no obligation to keep it.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes are notified to active clients by email.
